Tasmanian Women in Agriculture offering two leadership scholarships

Tasmanian Women in Agriculture (TWIA) is a voluntary, non-political, independent and grassroots organisation that recognizes the needs and aspirations of people involved in agriculture in rural communities, women and their families in Tasmania.

They are committed to raising the profile of agriculture as a forward thinking and vibrant industry that is vital to the economy of Tasmania.  In addition, they encourage women involved in the industry to realise their full potential and to support women who wish to be part of the decision-making areas of agriculture beyond the farm-gate.

TWiA are offering individual scholarships to two Tasmanian women to attend the Marcus Oldham Rural Leadership Program (MORLP), an intensive five-day workshop aimed at developing personal and leadership skills.

The MORLP scholarship is open to any Tasmanian woman and covers all course fees, air travel, meals and accommodation.

The program will be held from Sunday 5 September to Friday 10 September 2021.

Applications close 31 May 2021.
