When Damien McCulloch agreed to lend his 10-year-old son $1,000 about two years ago, he didn't expect to see the money come back.
Little did he realise it was the start of young Fletcher's blossoming chicken business.
Fletcher, now 12, said he had started incubating his idea after some unexpected success selling eggs on Facebook.
"Basically, we started with four or five family chooks, and we had a few extra eggs, so I put them on my mum's Facebook page," he began.
"They went pretty fast, and a few other people had said, 'if you have any more put my name down'."
