Farmers prepare for bushfire season

Six months on from Australia's black summer residents affected by the Keilira bushfire are continuing to rebuild and recover, as thoughts turn to the next fire season.
Phil and Anthea Clarke lost their house in the blaze that burnt more than 26,000 hectares on New Year's Eve.
The charred remains of their home of 18 years have now been cleared to make way for a new foundation.
"We're at the stage of taking soil tests," Mr Clarke said.
"The house is 99 per cent planned out, as long as we don't talk to anyone else and decide we need to add something or change something else,
"It will be exciting to get back into the house on the farm, just so that we're living back on our own farm — we've absolutely missed it."
