Research Services for Farmers
Research services offered by the Department of Primary Industries, Parks, Water and Environment Library include access to a number of free online databases and the library catalogue of the Department.
Library staff are happy to assist farmers with their research and information needs. Services provided include: research expertise; ready reference help; literature searches to ensure farmers are up-to-date with current research; access to the extensive journal collection, books, CD-ROMs and databases for use within the library; inter-library loans for resources not held on a cost-recovery basis; introductory library tours; training in the use of the library catalogues and internet resources; and photocopying at 20 cents per page.
