The Tasmanian and Australian Governments are providing Clean-Up Grants of up to $10,000 to help eligible primary producers affected in the 2016 floods.
The deadline for applications has been extended to 31 March 2017.
The grants can be used to assist with clean-up and restoration activities including - removing debris, disposing of dead livestock, salvaging crops, grain and feed, and repairing plant and equipment.
Damage from subsequent flood events can also be covered, up to a ceiling of $10,000 per property.
Grants are currently available to eligible primary producers in the following local government areas; - Break O’Day, Kentish, Latrobe, Meander Valley, Northern Midlands, Waratah-Wynyard, Central Coast and Central Highlands, as well as buffer zones along the council boundaries.
